Summer solstice....

is recorded here, when, on the longest day, the sun appears to set in the notch between the two square-topped rocks, Daisy and Hive Rocks, on the left. A beautifully sunny day here, warm and good to walk in. the Turnstones and other waders were feeding and grooming at the waters edge. The large, yellow Hawkbit brightens the sea turf.
About five miles inland, it was bucketing down!
