Storm brewing
I'd noted the approaching storm as I drove home from Lincoln around midday. Once home I noted it was on a path straight for me! Within an hour there was hail, thunder, and lightning.
I've managed the conveyor belt of smoking 3 trout and managed to dodge the worst of the weather. It was a good call to cancel today's trip. It's a lot colder and the same storm that passed over home would have hit where we were headed. I'm never a fan of thunder and lightning in the outdoors.
Today's gratitude: I appreciated the countryside this morning. It was bathed in sunshine and the daffodils, grass, and blossoms looked lovely. I smiled :-)
