Morning Light in the Chapel

There was a brief ecumenical prayer service this morning at the British Irish Association Conference led by the Archbishop of Dublin Michael Jackson.

It took place in the small but very beautiful chapel of Downing College where the quality of light was stunning

I sat in the stalls opposite this window and was transfixed by the constant variations in the colours and then by the peace and stillness after the service where all present remained seated to hear an exquisitely played organ voluntary - Bach I think.
