Close up

First of all thanks for so many good wishes yesterday on my 8th blip birthday.  I always have to remind myself however that I have a bit to go before celebrating 8 continuous years, as for the first year and a bit of blipping I only did it occasionally.   On Hogmanay 2010 I decided to try a full year every day, to see if I could make it and since then it has become - as many blippers find - an integral and pleasurable part of everyday life which also greatly improves ones way of seeing and knowledge of photography. 

Anyway, as I move into blip 2921 I needed something to  change the focus particularly as it has been a very dreich day and I have been stuck at my desk writing a statement that I am due to give in the Parliament tomorrow and catching up with the inevitable backlog of emails.

So this is  - well, I suspect most have guessed, but for those who have’nt -  a seed heed .  I liked the shape at the end which looked vaguely human.
