A Day At A Time.

Country Lane

This lane reminded us of Good Old Blighty!

Windy, weedy tarmac with blackberry bushes along both sides, thick and prickly.

Except that it was not cold, grey and raining and we were not in imminent danger of being run down by ever-increasing amounts of traffic.

Rather, it was nearly 30°C, the sky was a lovely uninterrupted blue and the even bluer sea was just over the top of the next rise. And we didn't see a car, horse or human the entire time we were there.

We felt very lucky indeed.

We spent the morning at ADANA, the HQ of the dog charity, me showing the President how to use the database I had designed and built for them and Jacqui helping to walk some of the 150 or so dogs that they currently have in their kennels.

It won't be "they" for much longer, but "we", as I am to become the Secreatry of this worthy and valuable charity in October.
