American Wannabe?

He was dressed in what might be considered a stereotypical American outfit from head to toe -- including cowboy boots and belt buckle, a stars-and-stripes shirt and a hat. His facial hair was styled to what he thought might be a Western look as well.

But he was decidedly Alsatian with a local accent so thick you could cut it with a knife. He's never been to the States but plans on doing so "just as soon as the 'situation' with Trump resolves itself." We had a pleasant conversation and he was thrilled to say "hallo" to my American husband. I think we might have made his day! :)
