The power and the glory

I'm not sure about the title but you get the picture ;-)

My standard tramping boots (as opposed to the heavy duty rigid ones I use on alpine trips) meet my red party shoes.

Boots are ready for the weekend. Shoes are ready for the fancy dinner and dancing event in a few weeks.

Yes, there is a dress too but that can be another blip.

My alarm goes off at 5am tomorrow. Then I'm off to the coast to tramp above Blackball. There will be sun, there could be rain. It will be fun :-)
