Coast to Coast

We went to a music session at St Bees last night and met up with a chap we vaguely knew from years ago at Staithes festival, He was starting the Coast to Coast walk today. Craig is a film producer and is filming and blogging his walk in aid of a Hospice in the north east for Children under five years old.
He is doing the walk solo along with his dog Meg. Ray being the dog lover he is was worried about Meg getting cold and wet, so we went out about lunchtime and managed to catch him as he crossed the road by this Coast to Coast statue near Moor Row. We gave him a spare dog coat we had left from one of the dogs we have had.
We then went to the Gather Community cafe at Ennerdale for lunch as the roadworks are chaotic outside our  house and we knew the water was going to be off this afternoon.
