Stranded Again

For about eight weeks we could only go Cockermouth way. Now that the road towards Workington  is open, they have closed it in the opposite direction for as long. We have traffic lights each side of our drive and I have to get out of car and check what colour they are on before Ray pulls out. About half a mile up the road there is another set of lights. Would be nice if we actually saw anybody working in these areas.
It is all to do with United Utilities "keeping our water flowing" hope we have more water pressure when they get finished, as our pressure has never been good in this house.
