Still no real news on Ruadh, although at least today she is drinking but not eating. Still in the Vet's Hospital.
We have Tricia's Scrabble group, with partners around for a curry tonight so I trotted off to the local St. Melany market to buy a couple of aubergines. We are growing them but demand has currently outstripped supply - unlike tomatoes and courgettes.
The drive there takes in Pont Rouge although the reason for the name eludes me at present.
A convivial evening eating, drinking and speaking some curious hybrid of English and French with a bit of Lowland Scots thrown in for luck - or perhaps to confuse.
