Great weather for ducks!

I certainly wasn't prepared for the heavy shower that started as I drove lochward, so the dogs and I were absolutely drenched by the end of our walk. "Shower-proof" jacket? What a joke! I'm glad I left my camera in the car, because even the insides of the pockets were wet.

Keen to get my last Loch Lomond blip for a while, I stopped on the homeward journey to capture Balmaha marina in the rain from the car window... and these two ducks obligingly waddled into the picture! Sure enough, as the distant brightness in the sky hints, the shower didn't last long - it was just a case of bad timing on my part.
