Haddon Hall

I love having friends to stay. It's the perfect excuse to go back to favourite places I'm proud of and show them off.

I love Haddon Hall in Derbyshire and the drive there (via Matlock) and returning (via Ashbourne) captures the flavour of the Peak District.

I chose the amazing old table in the Great Hall, but I might just as well have chosen the Long Gallery, or a general view as you approach this lovely place. (I couldn't resist putting this as an extra.)
