Kite Flying!

Great day today.  I met two old friends for coffee and a catch up this morning and then this afternoon Jen picked me up and we were off for her birthday treat - a bird of prey experience.  I was along as mum and official photographer!  It was a smashing afternoon, we learned lots of stuff about the birds of prey and the owls at the Falconry Centre and then Jen got to fly several of them, including this beautiful red kite.
