Nose, Neck, and Knees

I haven't been down to the Metro Park lately, so at sunrise...I was on my way.

I only got two birds to venture into the sunshine. A faraway eagle, and a flyby egret.

A pair of sand-hill cranes were my nearest subjects, but they wouldn't come out of the shadows. This is one of them.

For the first time in weeks, I had enough "keepers" to have a small Flickr set.
