Tuesday: Back Garden

You could be forgiven for thinking this back garden was a little glimpse of England, but I can assure you that it's definitely in Vancouver. It's the garden of the very nice house where I was invited for lunch today.

The only other thing worth reporting today was that I had to go and sign a book of condolence for the former King of Malaysia who died recently. His name was so long that my pen was threatening to run out of ink half way through my message. I also had to keep sneaking a look at my crib sheet to make sure I got his name right - a tad embarrassing given that my Malaysian colleague kept peering over my shoulder to see what I was writing.
