'The World's Biggest Coffee Morning'

Well, it's all over now...... we had a great time and raised a lot of money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Seventy five people came through the door. Total raised is not yet known but I will give you an update when I can, as so many of you were interested. I also said I would try to blip it, so here is my photo.

We had two girls to entertain, a singer and a guitarist, and they were really good. We had a raffle, an auction, a 'name the teddy', hand made cards for sale, and home baking for sale as well as on the tables.

It was a good morning ...... but three hours of standing is much harder on the legs than three hours of walking...... I take my hat off to waitresses and washer uppers the world over.
