Meeting the neighbours

With an upcoming big event on Sunday we took the morning off CrossFit to rest up a bit. It also gave us the chance to explore the local area. We knew we had two wagtails around our place but this is the first time we spotted one in the wee nest in the lemon tree. Didn't get too close so apologies for full zoom on the iPhone. Will keep an eye on them. Hopefully I've gained their trust by shooing away some magpies they were trying to get rid of.

Wandered up the road, grabbed a coffee, found some new places to try. It was lovely to see a bit of a hustle and bustle in the community. People starting their day and joining friends before work. So friendly. Love it.

I also got a new camera toy delivered (finally!). But that's a blip for next week ;-)
