An unexpected visitor

I was clearing some weeds behind the back of my fence this morning - ivy and bindweed had been making its way under and over my fence and I also want to get in to paint the fence before winter. I carried on removing a thin strip of weeds behind the wire fence at the edge of the gravel and came across this unexpected visitor. Amazing what appears where you least expect it.
