A smashing day

It's been a great day. The service was spot on exactly as we wanted, lots of good words, laughing and some terrible and loud singing. I did my funeral talk without issue which made me happy. My poor children both cried throughout the whole service but I think that's a good thing, they loved their grandpa.

Then we went for a big party, lots of faces I haven't seen for tens of years, everyone said such lovely things. I drank loads and had a fab time. Then a follow on party at my mum's, I had to stop drinking at some point.

It has been a fabulous day. My dad would have loved it,
