CBHobby - painting and drawing (this is my pastel)

My hobby is making drawings and paintings. And also taking care of the swans in the area I live.
This pastel drawing is from a male swan ( I have a special bond with him), I saw here in the ponds being all alone and he liked it when I came to visite him. He still was a young swan, 1 year old, because he still had some brown feathers. I told him to find a girlfriend so he would not be that alone. The next year he came back with a most beautiful female swan. This was the first swan I took care of and that was needed here where I live. The people here are not friendly to them. Last year in 2016 they had their first babies and especially the male is so in love with his children, he is a such a lovely caretaking swan. I loved to see the babies grow and one needed some special care, helped her for 4 months until she also could get her own way. There are other cygnets I needed to help. Also this week again. Two cygnets very sick by botulism. I could get them out of the water, because they trust and know me. So sad I heard yesterday the girl has died, but the boy is doing well, eating himself again and I think there is a good chance he will survive, for the girl it was to late. I already thought so, because she was very weak when I got her out of the water.

I like to photograph the swans also a hobby. But must make some art again. Love making pastels, but also watercolours I love to make and sometimes acrylic. Most of my artwork is realistic, but also make intuitive paintings. It is very relaxing to do. I am still liking this pastel and it is hanging on my wall in the livingroom as many others I made. I was a few years ago on an international artsite and was leading a group of almost 650 watercolour members. Every month I made a challenge for them and we had so much fun. Site is gone now. But it was so nice to see people getting better and better with watercolour. It was a good time.

Well here two hobbies or should I say three. Art, swans and photography.
