Thursday: Musicians

I had a very cultured evening. I was invited to a small concert given by Kristen, on the right. She plays the oboe and is a doctoral student of music. Recently, she won a scholarship to spend a month in the UK, having masterclasses and playing in a variety of venues.

The chap on the left is Richard, the head of music at the University of British Columbia.

Luckily for me, K. has returned from a couple of nights away on Vancouver Island with our visitors.
