Merefest Ceilidh

This weekend is Merefest in Ellesmere, a festival concerned with the Meres and Mosses, Shropshire Wildlife Trust and all things related. Last night there was a ceilidh in a marquee by The Mere and I played in a community arts massed band. There were nine local musicians playing the music which was good experience for people that weren't used to playing for dancing.

It went well with lots of people there but was absolutely freezing as one of the sides of the marquee was open to the elements. At least the dancers kept warm!
