Villa Monastero

This morning we took the ferry over to Varenna, it was quite cool but we were dressed with padded jackets and so managed to sit outside for the entire journey. We had lunch at Varenna after a walk around the village. After another wander around we took the ferry back to Lenno. This time, even dressed as we were we had to take cover in the enclosed area of the ferry. We were shortly followed by just about everybody else on the ferry.

On arriving in Lenno we decided to stop at the Bar Golfo. While there it started to rain heavily. On our way back we stopped briefly at the supermarket. By the time we were back in the apartment we were soaked and had to change into dry clothes.  We had to put the heating on as well. We spent the evening watching Montalbano.
