Scottish Parliament

With the Heriot-Watt Alumni we paid a visit to the Scottish Parliament building. This is instantly recognisable as the main Debating Chamber, as seen from the public gallery, looking towards the Presiding Officer's chair.

To me the entire building felt smaller than I'd expected, especially after seeing the model and the debating chamber looked less like a school gymnasium than it appears on television.
