Snack Time (Again)

It was such a lovely day that, after the necessary activities of the morning, Mr Flum and I went off to sample the lunchtime menu at the Whistlestop Cafe in Innerleithen. Highly recommended, especially popular with cyclists (not that we were...) Had a wander down to the antique shops and bought my birthday present (from last June) (okay, probably next June and Christmas as well) then drove down the lanes to Kailzie Gardens for coffee.

While we enjoyed our snack (if Mr Flum's Border Tart with ice cream and butterscotch sauce qualifies as a 'snack') in the sunshine this bee was snacking on the Lobelias in the windowbox beside us. The photo is cropped to show how the light caught its eye and wings (best in Large).

Then we wandered home the pretty way. This retiring lark certainly is good fun.
