Manchester Airport

It always seemed a sensible move to give Chester's game at Dover a miss and it proved to be the right decision as they lost 4-0. 

Instead I decided to go and watch West Didsbury & Chorlton against Runcorn Town which proved to be an entertaining game with Runcorn winning 4-2. It is the third time I have seen Runcorn this season, once in a friendly against Chester and twice in the league. They look a good team at this level and have a 100% record.

Before the game I went on a geocaching walk close to the airport and the route gave me some fantastic views of the planes landing and taking off. The main picture is a plane taking off from the runway closest to the terminal buildings. The extras were both taken later in the walk when the planes started to land on the other runway and were flying directly overhead. The map shows exactly where the pictures were taken.
