Brynn, the Baby

She was born to her parents,
Kristin and Matthew.
They're really proud of her...
baby Brynn is now 2.

The grandmas engulfed her,
Irena and Lori Sue.
They came to the party,
cuz baby Brynn is now 2.

No longer eating rice cereal,
she has teeth to chew.
She eats grown-up stuff,
cuz baby Brynn is now 2.

We had ribs on the barbie,
some even had a brew.
We came to celebrate...
baby Brynn being 2.

No more 1 year old games,
no more peek-a-boo.
Because...you see...
baby Brynn is now 2.

She flocked to the presents,
as if she was on cue.
Last year, she was one,
but this year she is 2.

There was much whoop-de-doo,
along with much ballyhoo.
It was a nice venue,
for baby Brynn turning 2.

The girl is a charmer,
with an overload of cute,
and she seemed to sense...
that she was turning 2.

It was a nice afternoon,
I think all would agree.
Next year, we'll get together...
and watch baby Brynn turn 3.
