Fire Fighters in Venice

We were on our afternoon when this team passed under our bridge--they are in their work outfits, but I have no idea what they were doing or where they were headed. Our chief events were excellent ice cream cones at a highly rated gelateria near the Campo Santa Margherita, and a visit to the nearby San Pantalon church.  At the Campo a pair of little boys were chasing pigeons--and a gull which took flight--see the extra.
