The Bloody Long Walk

Never underestimate a walk! That is what I learnt today!

We took part in Perth's Bloody Long Walk today. A 35km (22 mile) walk along and around the Swan River and along the coast. We started at 7am and just over 8 hours later we were done, in all meanings of the word!

It was challenging, long and painful but we are so glad we did it too! After all the madness of moving it was nice to just get out and walk. It was also a nice sight seeing tour of some areas we hadn't explored before.

It was only at the end we found out the organisers had fibbed and it was actually 37.5km! The buggers!
