The end of summer

I had a busy day at work today so the only chance I had to take any photographs was as I was going home...I rather liked this dying (or dead) sunflower head, it looks so sorrowful , reflecting my mood at summer being over all too soon :-(
I don't think the snotty cold I have developed is helping my mood either....ho hum hello Autumn!
