Large and Small
The night before last I managed to catch both a Large Ranunculus Polymixis flavicincta and a Small Ranunuculus Hecatera dysodea in the same trap. Whilst I would expect to see the Large Ranunculus this time of year the Small Ranunculus is primarily a summer species, but it has been odd this year!
I decided to use my new macro twin flash for this shot, but it took me a while to get it right with the first few shots really over exposed! I think I need to buy some diffusers then hopefully things will be OK.
The flash works well though, I have added a shot of a parent bug in my extras which looks so much better well lit!
