Elephant Hawk Moth Caterpillar

Out walking with friends and came across this cracking looking Caterpillar , the week before one of my friends had should be a photo he had taken of the moth in flight that he had taken with was very impressive but I can see why my the size of the caterpillar The Elephant Hawk-moth caterpillar grows to 85mm in length and is one of the largest and most distinctive caterpillars to be found in the British Isles.
