River Meets Bay

The San Lorenzo river originates in the Santa Cruz Mountains and runs south through Santa Cruz, but before it dumps into Monterey Bay, it clashes with the tide and finds a different path each time. Sometimes it's more to the left, sometimes more to the right, always making crazy shapes and surprising you. Today we stopped here for a view before walking through nearby Arana Gulch and a seafood lunch.
