A chilly start to the day with an inversion in the valley. The cloud remained on some of the tops as you can see here. The Langdale Fells were much clearer. 

After a cooked breakfast (well done me), we had a wander up to High Sweden Bridge and beyond. Often the track becomes impassable (unless you want to paddle) because of water in the dips. Today it was this young Highland cow that made us decide to turn back. He was probably friendly but those horns would have been rather close as we passed.
