This could be a race to shore between the launch and the geese. I predict that the geese lost unless they decided to fly. 

It was dry when we left Ambleside but got wet approaching Keswick. A coffee break seemed a good idea and when we came out of the cafe the rain had stopped. We had a short walk along the shore of Derwent Water before going different ways. My husband headed to Booths for some food  and I went to the Paramo shop. I was the big spender this morning.
