Busy Buzzy

Yet another good nights sleep..........woke up to
a foggy start, quite cold, only 7 degrees when I hit the road to go over to see sis.

I almost found mysef stuck on the slip road of the M60, I found out later an artic had broken down in the roadworks, but I just managed to indicate and rejoin the A road to avoid goodness knows how long a delay...phew!!
I had to go via Manchester, which took a little longer than usual, a better option this morning for sure!

I picked sis up, after a quick fuss of Kobi, we went to collect sis's friend, and headed to Slatterys for a lunch treat. We were very good and didnt succumb to cake, just a very lovely focaccia toasted sandwich with salad and coleslaw.

Later sis and I popped to thr supermarket for one or two things. I just had time for a quick cuppa back at sis's before heading home.

Hub had been a busy bee whilst Id been out, a bit of ironing, mowed the back lawn, sorted out a boiler service, contacted our house alarm service man :-)

Our back garden is still looking pretty good, especially in the late afternoon sunshine, it was 19 degrees as I pulled onto our drive......so another garden blip, these daisy like flowers are prevalent, the buzzies love them too!

After putting thr groceries away, I decided to put our newly purchased pillows on the bed, hope they are as comfy as our matress!!
Made thai red curry chicken and rice for dinner.....we always enjoy it.

Just watched England Ladies thrash Russia
6-0 in a World Cup qualifying match, played terrifically well!!
