Nose peel!

Lunchtime walk, just to stretch my legs as I’d spent too long looking at a screen, and I walked up one of the many jitties in the village. This one, however, brought back a memory from quite a few years ago.

See how the rocks have been placed under the lower bar of this railing; well, many years ago when my lovely but sadly now departed dog, Jasper, was a bright young thing they weren’t there and as he went roaring up this jitty like a loon in the dark, he completely missed the gap and found himself taking an undesirable line under railing.

Hence the title: Nose peel!
