Chimney pot

This old chimney pot was taken off many years ago when the gas boiler flue was fitted and it sits in a shaded part of the garden - until late afternoon when the sun reaches it.

What a lovely day it has been for working in the garden but sadly it won't last I suspect. I have made a vow to stop complaining about the Scottish weather when I see what the poor people in the Caribbean and parts of the USA are having to suffer.
