Gobs
Let's not even talk about this morning's meeting or, indeed, the extent to which it could have been held by phone or even email. I actually, without thinking, picked up my bag after about 15 minutes, and then had to put it back down again, when I realised that I was the only one who realised we were finished.
A genuinely business-wise chap once said to me 'treat your suppliers the way you treat your clients' and that is a lesson worth taking onboard.
And so it was that I was back in London with well over an hour to spend before my train, so I went and sat in a café on Drummond Street, drank coffee, and had another crack at the crossword that Tom gave me last week.
Before I left the client, though, I stopped to grab a photo of a rather nice water feature they have at their premises, which occasionally results in great gobs of water suspended in the air. I didn't quite get it this time but no doubt I'll be back for another go.
