Off again, this time to London and the staff conference. 18 of us on the train at lunchtime, 2 went earlier and one arrived, much, later. Oddly we left the boss in Edinburgh to fly down. He was up following up from yesterday's announcement he will chair the Government Action group on homelessness.

Quick turn around at the hotel and then the, 20 having been reduced to 2, L and I met up with colleagues in the 'garden' at Garlic and Shots. I avoided the shots but you couldn't avoid the garlic. Quite a few folk there including, eventually, the CSSY and CSSW contingents. Some former colleagues too, including Claire B. An Uber back to Russell Square, a nightcap in the bar and then up to the 7th floor. Busy day tomorrow.
