Conference!

A day of 2 halves. Our annual conference and some inspirational stuff. Highlights were: David Moore, one of our founders who was on the original march in London in 1967 that founded Crisis; seeing the outline of our Plan to End Homelessness, firmly based on research and evidence of what works and supports change; World Cafe generating solutions to some of the trickier issues and finally one of our own winning a staff honours award. We'll done J!

Then home via the 'Euston Flyer' and the train which is where it all started to unravel. Problems with locomotive, intruders on the line north of London and then south of Durham,,removing the loco at Newcastle and then finally waiting for a platform at Waverley meant we were over 2 hours late. However Virgin East Coast staff kept our spirits high. Being with the team and the support from the Food Bar staff made it bearable but it was a long day.
