Goodbye Picos

We left the Picos early this morning and drove down to the coast and along to Bilbao. Autumn is coming in the mountains, the leaves are beginning to turn colour and it was definitely chilly - 5° this morning. I understand now why all the goats and sheep were suddenly in the lower pasture by our hotel yesterday, they were being taken off the higher pastures in preparation for winter.
