Cooling pool

Absolutely beautiful day out the hill. First red deer stags I've heard roaring with at least a hundred deer in groups all over the hill. Ptarmigan nearby too. Sheep everywhere and certainly not cooperative. Poor Breagh by the end had taken doing the most slow motion canter I've ever seen to go round the sheep. She still got there and did her job just had to take her time. After the gather we had to rush back and fuel and food and go down the road further to get dog food as everything was low. Made it very difficult to get everything done in time to watch ourselves on TV.  We were on quite a lot tonight. That's episode 8 bbc 2 this farming life.

I took far too many pictures so hard to choose in the extras are dogs on a rock posing without being asked, ptarmigan, view to Oban in the distance and a ewe and lamb who stood behind that tree 3m from where we sat and had lunch.
