MacMillan Care
It was quite a stressful day for Mhairi and by the afternoon she had less than her usual appetite for the tramp round Leanachan.
Stressful for what could go wrong or if perhaps, after all the hard work of everyone involved in preparation, no one turned up. The concern was unfounded. The morning brightened up nicely after some heavy showers and the Roy Bridge public, who always support things well, streamed in to the hall.
There is no fixed admission charge and those who come are simply asked to make a donation and this arrangement works very well.
While there are always small additions from late donations the total raised will be about £750.
A huge thank you is in order to everyone who came or supported the event. It is a massive total for a small village.
Anyway here is Caley in fine form on the afternoon walk.
