Foggy Panorama in Venice

This is a north view from our 5th floor apartment (it would be the 6th in the U.S.) early this morning.   San Giacomo dell'Orio provides the conspicuous dome and tower on the left (I blipped its campo  in 2011 and we visited it a week ago). This panorama is  merged in Photoshop from four images.  However, in the "original" there was a large chimney on our roof which I have cut out, so  this version  is not entirely continuous; I patched up the joint as best I could, so at least it's not obvious. Kudos to anyone who can find it!  It's striking with the black background (click the double arrows to the upper left)

Sadly, this is my farewell blip from Venice (for this trip at least).  At midday we  took a train ca. 170 km (105 miles)  east. Stay tuned to find out where we've landed :)
