Saturday: Steve

Our main reason for coming home this weekend was to celebrate T.'s birthday.  A lot of friends turned out including several friends who are really good musicians.  

This is Steve, by day barman at our local pub, by night excellent blues singer and guitarist.  He brought the house down tonight with his version of Donovan's 'Season of the Witch'.  I'll tell you something else about Steve - he completely knows our taste in pints and is absolutely spot on with the ones he recommends, even taking into account that I prefer hoppy, whereas K. prefers malty.  He always gets it right first time.  All the more incredible, given that he does not touch alcohol.
