Shared Memories

I have had only one day off today in between trips. Tomorrow I am leaving on trip 3 of 5 in a row. So today I had a to-do list almost as long as my arm. Most of it involved sitting at my desk getting caught up on admin. I did escape for lunch and a small shop at Waitrose.

It was a beautiful afternoon and evening and I was desperate for some fresh air so I packed a quick salad and headed to one of the nearby parks in order to have a little sunset picnic. I also hoped to bump into some dog walking friends who I'd often see here at this time of evening. I DID see them and was able to tell them that I'd lost Dolly recently. In fact, the first thing they said was 'where's Dolly?' They were so sad - they loved her - we shed a few tears but also shared some precious memories. She was so loved by so many and it makes me happy that she blessed other people's lives, not just my own.
