Stripes, with cormorant

A fine day! Slow. Got to read late in bed (my all time favorite reading spot), some necessary chores, a walk in the quiet forest, and the afternoon in the studio with the gorgeous Offenbach music from Tales of Hoffman on "Saturday at the Opera." Loved it.
It did rain a bit last night, but not enough. If it's still good tomorrow, we'll get the rowing boat out.
Have beach and forest view pix but decided I feel minimal today and liked the stripes on the water as much as this cormorant who sat on this buoy all afternoon. Taken from the deck.
