As soon as they said they would parade the Cup at Easter Road after the game against Hearts we shoulda put the house on Hearts to win.

To be fair, I think the match deserves a positive spin for JC. He likes to put pressure on his young team to produce the goods in big games. He certainly threw the gauntlet down to them by having the cup parade after the local derby match.

Hearts tactics were spot on - stifle the skill - with giant Eastern Block thugs commiting no less than 27 fouls in the game. Impressive count. It was like losing to Motherwell at home. Bitterly disappointing but the team were good from back to middle. Just couldnae score.
