Manifesto

Today we visited Helsingin Taidehalli to see Julian Rosefeldt's video exhibition 'Manifesto' starring the great Cate Blanchett. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, ther were 12 different scenes in different settings with Blanchett taking on different roles. The narrative was a mixture of art world talk from the early 20th century to modern day, and most of the settings were located in Berlin. It was just outstanding. Definitely crowned our day, which started with a breakfast at Hotel Presidentti, then to see a golden necklace from century 200 (!) at the National Museum, then a piccolochampagne on the cliffs next to the House of Parliament, and finally the Manifesto. A must see fro everybody!
